Become a Circuit Champion and Build Our Region's Trails

Connecting the Circuit is one of our most critical and ambitious campaigns. We are a leading member of the Circuit Coalition, the group working to connect the Greater Philadelphia Region with a world-class network of biking and walking trails (the Circuit).

Imagine getting on your bike and being able to ride all day, uninterrupted, on dedicated car-free bicycle and pedestrian paths. Imagine biking from Bartram's Garden to Longwood Gardens, from Collingswood to Center City Philadelphia, or from the Perkiomen Trail to Pennypack Park. That's the vision of the Circuit - a 750 mile network of trails spanning 9 counties, which when done will put 50% of the region's residents living within 1 mile of a trail.

The Manayunk Bridge is part of the Circuit, a trail we hope will open in 2015

As we undertake this work, we are seeking partners - individuals who share this vision for a region connected by trails. So we are launching the Circuit Champions.

Circuit Champions are ambitious individuals like us, who believe in the idea that our workplaces, our homes, our communities, and our parks and rivers should be connected by safe paths for walking and biking.

Circuit Champions get us closer to this vision by making sustaining gifts to the Bicycle Coalition. These gifts allow us to pursue the work of trail building: rallying community support and presenting it to funders, negotiating the closing of key trail gaps with property owners, and fighting for trails in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Washington D.C.

If you believe in the importance of the Circuit and its potential to enrich our entire region for generations to come, consider becoming a Circuit Champion. If you join before December 31st, you will be invited to an exclusive behind-the-scenes trail walk for a glimpse of two future trail bridges in Manayunk - the Manayunk Bridge and the Pencoyd Bridge.

Are you ready to step up and support the Circuit? Become a Circuit Champion.
