Care About The Future Development Of University City/SW Philly? Attend This Meeting

The Philadelphia City Planning Commission's Philadelphia2035 plan maps out the physical development of the city over the next 25 years. Part of this project is creating 18 different district plans to guide zoning, public investment, and development in different sections of the city.

The public meeting for the University City/Southwest District Plan is coming up on Tuesday, November 13th. This is a good opportunity to find out what the city has in mind for the long-term development of those neighborhoods. What will streets look like? Storefronts, transit options, plans for city-owned land and facilities? It sounds like dry planning conversations but it may have a huge impact on living, working, or moving through those neighborhoods over the next 30 years.

If you want to get involved in shaping these developments, we recommend you attend this meeting.
