Beginning on Monday, October 1, the Ben Franklin Bridge walkway will close nightly at 8 pm for the Fall and Winter Season. Since 2009 the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) has extended the walkway hours until 9 pm from May 1 to September 30th. The opening time for the walkway remains at 6 am
Speaking of the Ben Franklin Bridge, The DRPA Board of Commissioners may be close to selecting a design firm for the walkway ramp. The Board's Operations and Maintenance Committee has drafted a resolution for the Board to consider at the October 17th meeting. Stay tuned for updates.
