Cycling-loving international exchange student seeks host digs

This came to our attention, and we thought surely someone in the interwebs living in or near Wyncote, PA would be interested in hosting an international exchange student with a passion for cycling.  Below is information provided by the program on the student how to learn more.

Student name: Jiongtian Li
  • From Shenzhen, China
  • Jiongtian is 17 and is going into the 12th grade at Bishop McDevitt High School
  • He is passionate about cycling and hopes to have the chance to cycle with his host family
  • Jiongtian's favorite subject is Math
  • Other hobbies include Model UN, volunteering, trumpet, hiking, and tennis
  • He is honest, hard-working, and a loyal friend

Host Family Responsibilities
  • Create a warm and friendly environment for the student in your home
  • Engage in learning about his culture as he learns about ours
  • Provide 3 meals a day - breakfast, bag lunch, dinner
  • Help student with transportation to and from school - the student will pay for additional costs such as a bus fee when applicable
  • Spend time with your student on the weekend
  • *Host Families will receive a monthly stipend of $600 to cover some of the costs of hosting
