Montgomery County Keeps The Trail Building Up

As the finishing touches on the Oaks to Mont Clare Section of the SRT wind down, Montgomery County is going full steam ahead on its next conquest, the Cross County Trail. A small section is now being completed from the PA Turnpike Overpass to Germantown Pike. Later this year construction is scheduled to begin on the big push to Fort Washington, nudging the extensive regional trail network into the populous eastern part of the County.
