Our Women Bike PHL Coordinator Katie Monroe is biking from New York City to Washington D.C. this weekend as part of the #webiketodc ride. This ambitious plan will bring her and nine other thought leaders in the women's bicycling world to our capital in time for the National Women's Bicycling Forum on March 3rd. The Forum is happening as part of the National Bike Summit.
They leave New York City on Thursday morning and roll into Philadelphia sometime Thursday evening. Friday morning they head south, and there is an organized morning ride to accompany them for the first part of their journey.
Meeting place: LOVE Park
Time: 7:30 AM
Destination: Bartram's Garden, where the #webiketodc women will continue southward and the rest of the group will be led back to LOVE Park.
Who: This ride is open to all riders of all abilities
Weather: this ride is weather dependent (although the #webiketodoc ride is not)
