PhillyPedals Joins Ranks of Philly-Focused Bicycle Websites

This blog's readership is notorious for its insatiable appetite for bicycling news related to the Greater Philadelphia Region. I mean, goodness people, sometimes a body needs a rest! You should see the back end of this blog; it's hot to the touch.

Fortunately for you ravenous hordes, there is a new website aiming to cast down from the parapets the trussed bundles of Philly bike content you demand. PhillyPedals.com is up and running, and they covered our Monday bike light giveaway with some awesome photographs by Thom Carroll.

Their masthead declares their intent to "cover all things on two wheels in the City of Brotherly Love." And with former Bicycle Coalition Community Liasion Steve Taylor as their Editor-in-Chief, we expect the site to be just riddled with meticulous reporting and an unbridled enthusiasm for bicycling. Recent content includes tips for night riding and an interview with Fairmount Bicycles owner Shelly Salamon.

Welcome to the web, PhillyPedals!

I think I can speak for the whole Philly Pedals team when I say - thanks!

We're excited to cast trussed bundles of bike news from the parapets, and couldn't be happier to have your support. If the hordes become too ravenous, we'll be stopping in for advice ;)
