New Bicycle Group in University City Holding Wednesday Info Session

Some enterprising grad students have created the University Bike Collective, deciding that in order to improve bicycling in University City, sometimes you just gotta DO THIS THING!

Their mission, from their Facebook page, states that they aim to:
  • Encourage everyone in the University City community to integrate biking into their everyday lives
  • Assess the needs of bikers in University City and advocate for bike infrastructure improvements, such as new bike lanes and bike parking
  • Hold workshops to encourage safe and confident urban riding
  • Organize fun, social rides to explore Philadelphia
Want to get involved? They are organizing an open-to-everybody information session this Wednesday at 12:30 PM on Penn's campus. Info and description below:

Wednesday, October 23rd, 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Meyerson Hall B6
210 S. 34th St.
Philadlephia, PA 19104
