Calling All Lady Mountain Bikers! March 2nd Clinic with Jacquie Phelan

The Bicycle Coalition is excited to partner with Breezer Bikes for a Women's Mountain Biking Clinic on March 2nd in the Wissahickon with the legendary Jacquie Phelan!

Jacquie is a true mountain bike goddess -- an inductee to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, with an unparalleled racing history and a passion for getting more women on mountain bikes. Founder of the WOMBATS (Women's Mountain Biking and Tea Society), she has led countless workshops throughout her life, inspiring and teaching women about the joys of off-road riding.

The clinic has only 30 spots total, and as of this posting only 10 remain. Sign up here: http://bcgpmtbclinic.eventbrite.com/. This event is open to ALL skill levels -- beginners welcome!

The clinic is free but participants must bring:
  • Mountain bike (that has been recently checked for safety)
  • Helmet
  • Water Bottle
Tea and pastries will be provided. The clinic is sponsored by Breezer Bikes, the world's first and oldest mountain bike brand.

Directions to Pachella Pavillion:

Heading north on Henry Ave, the park is a right turn at the intersection of Henry and Livezey (There is a red light there). Ample parking is available. We will be meeting at the pavillion, and beginning the workshop promptly at 1 PM.

This event is part of the Bicycle Coalition's new "Women Bike PHL" campaign, aimed at getting more women on bikes in Philadelphia. Stay tuned for more on this exciting project!
