Bicyclist and Motorcyclist Killed Sunday in South Philadelphia Collision

According to several news outlets, a 52-year old bicyclist crossing Oregon Avenue at 9th St was struck and killed by an eastbound motorcyclist who also died at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. No other details are available at this time.

It is the second media-reported death of a cyclist on Philadelphia streets in 2012. We offer our deepest sympathies to the families of both victims.
