Late last week, a Common Court Pleas judge overturned Lower Merion Township's order granting approval of O'Neill Properties condiction use application for a 580 unit apartment complex at 600 Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd. Common Court Pleas Judge Kelly Wall also deemed the settlement agreement that Lower Merion Township had entered into with O'Neill Properties that would have created a riverfront trail and rehab of the Pencoyd Bridge as moot. This is a big setback for this important connector to the Schuylkill River Trail and Cynwyd Trail. (This post originally appeared in the Connect The Circuit website's Crossing Paths Blog)
