The seminar, which consists of two 2-hour workshops, will cover a breadth of topics centered around making your community or county more bicycle-friendly. Specifically, it will cover topics like:
- Best practices for determining what to ask for;
- How to gather local support for bicycling infrastructure;
- Securing funding for local projects;
- Getting the attention of local politicians;
- The status of bike/ped trails near you;
- How to make sure that your favorite trail gets built or is properly maintained;
- Meet other individuals in your community interested in improving bicycling infrastructure.
