Make your ride better by volunteering with the Bicycle Coalition

Interested in helping make bicycling better in Philadelphia? Volunteer for us! We have a volunteer night this Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at our office. Bike Philly is also coming up, our fundraiser ride to make bicycling better in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Volunteer to make Bike Philly better, and thereby make bicycling better (through the transitive property).

Marshals are placed at key route intersections to warn riders of any road hazards, as well as to encourage and cheer for riders as they go through the route. Once the ride passes and their captain has dismissed them, marshals are free to join in and ride the route!

When: Sunday, September 11; 6:30am-Times vary (no later than 2pm)

Where: Report to Eakins Oval, locations vary

Registration volunteers will help register new riders, check in pre-registered riders, and give them their rider packets before Bike Philly.

Food volunteers distribute food to riders and replenish beverages. Volunteers will be placed either at the Finish Line Festival or at one of various rest stops.

T-shirt volunteers give event t-shirts to riders who have pre-purchased their event t-shirt. Additionally, t-shirt volunteers will be selling the extras to those who are interested.

Packet Pick Up volunteers will help give pre-registered riders their rider packet.
