Gift Certificates to Benefit Wilmington's Urban Bike Project

On July thieves broke into the Wilmington Urban Bike Project workshop and cleaned out the organizations entire inventory of bikes and tools. The theft brought the program (which is similar to Neighborhood Bike Works) to a halt, but generous donations from the public has put the Urban Bike Project back in business.

With adversity comes opportunity and The Bike Boutique which is Wilmington's only downtown bike shop has answered the call by offering its $50 gift certificates for the price of $40. Gift Certificates are good for a purchase of a bike valued at $400 or higher through 12/31/2011. For each gift certificate sold the Bike Boutique will make a donation of $50 to the URBAN BIKE PROJECT on your behalf. There is no limit to the number of certificates purchased nor the number of certificates that you can apply to each purchase.

Call the Bike Boutique at (302) 543-4536 for more details, the shop is located in he Nemours Building at 10th and Orange Street.
