Mayor's Office Press Conference On North-South Bike Lanes

This just released this morning by the Mayor's Office Of Transportation And Utilties:

WHO:
Rina Cutler, Deputy Mayor Transportation and Utilities

WHAT:
City transportation, health and public safety officials will be joined by AAA Mid-Atlantic and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia to announce pilot program for north/south bike lanes in Center City and Unprecedented enforcement and education campaign targets dangerous drivers, reckless cyclists and thoughtless pedestrians.

AAA Mid-Atlantic? "Reckless cyclists and thoughtless pedestrians"? This sounds like 1920s pro-motoring propaganda.

I really hope this doesn't turn into a bike crackdown like NYC is currently experiencing and that enforcement is actually equal among all street user groups.Has the police department mentioned if they will step up speed enforcement of motorists?
