The final bicycle fatality in 2010 occurred on the 6400 Block of Baltimore Ave near Fernwood Cemetery in Upper Darby on Thursday December 30th at approximately 10:30PM.
Randall Bratu, 62, of Lansdowne was struck from behind by a hit and run driver.
Haverford Police arrested Paul R. Jones shortly after his vehicle struck a minivan Wycombe Ave in Lansdowne. According to the article in the Delaware County Times the driver stated to Police that he hit something on Baltimore Avenue. He faces a host of charges including DUI and Vehicular Homicide.
