BCGP Wins Advocacy Organization Of The Year Award
The Alliance for Biking and Walking made the announcment tonight at their Bike Summit Reception that the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia has won their Advocacy Organization of the Year award. Alliance Executive Director Jeff Miller cited BCGP's tenfold increase in employees since 2005 from 1.6 to a summer seasonal employment figure of 14, working on the $23M TIGER Grant and for educating 20,000 people with the Bicycle Ambassador program.
