You seem to have no problem with a weekly protest at River Drive when two cyclists are seriously injured. But I guess when you live out in the suburbs we don't rate one protest because it was just an assault with minor injuries.

The sit in organizers who conceived the idea cancelled the gathering to meet with the police. See the June 12th followup post.
I saw the follow up when I made the above comment and that does not make it acceptable to me. The protest would have warned other cyclists what happened on the trail Especially since most of them do not read this blog.
