Two announcements about progress being made to construct the East Coast Greenway through Philadelphia.
Pennypack on the Delaware Extension -- Grand Opening on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 10am. Guest speakers are Mayor Michael Nutter and DCNR Commissioner Michael DiBenardinis. Hosted by Delaware River City Corporation and Fairmount Park
Center City Greenway -- Public Meetings hosted by Pennsylvania Environmental Council on Tuesday, November 18th 6pm (Penns Landing Hyatt on Columbus Boulevard) and Tuesday, December 2nd 6pm (AIA at 1218 Arch Street). Presentations will be made on 3alternative routes through Center City to connect the trail from the North Delaware to the Schuylkill River Trail.
