Google has rolled out walking directions, can bicycling directions be far behind?
That being said there are a lot of nuances to walking as demonstrated with this walk from Philadelphia to Camden.

With the use of the Tacony Palmyra Bridge it's obvious that Google has done some extensive research. I would suggest that Google provide some sort of some feedback formto improve the usability of this excellent service.

That's pretty funny though
Is there a way for you to configure your RSS feed so that entire posts, including all the text and media such as this map, would show up in the feed reader? I would love this!
Sorry this is where I'm leaving feedback. I can't seem to find any contact information.
I would welcome any guidance on doing this.
I found this blogger help site about entire posts not showing up: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=78656&topic=12455
Alternatively (and admittedly, I don't know much about this option), you could use feedburner. I know a number of sites whose RSS feeds contain media and videos use feedburner. http://www.google.com/support/feedburner/bin/topic.py?topic=13251
Hope that helps.
I'm not sure how involved Google is, but the transit authority here in Vancouver has a pilot project that maps bike routes on Google Maps. See http://www.cyclevancouver.ubc.ca/
the now obsolete "avoid highways" checkbox always worked well for me – a shame it's been replaced by this useless walking option.
