A Rainy Ride of Silence

Fifty to sixty hardy cyclists arrived in the pouring rain at the Art Museum steps to attend the Ride of Silence ceremony and police escorted ride. Because of the weather the ride was truncated to going down the Ben Franklin Parkway, around City Hall and back to the Art Museum. The ride commenced with a silent bike hoist.

I did the ride, and the video does justice to the weather, though not the experience of taking over the streets with rolling police street closures...

Thanks for sharing this video. It looks like a good mix of riders and different bikes, which is awesome. I wish I could have made it!
