Bicycle Coalition Makes Strike News Stories

Strike buzz has produced some decent press coverage for the Bicycle Coalition. Executive Director Alex Doty made it on Channel 6 at 6PM

Channel 3's coverage was slightly more in depth as they talked about the
bike station and Alex also was able to announce the hours that bike station
will be open.

This Morning's Philadelphia Inquirer also quoted Alex in their strike headline
"Alex Doty, executive director of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, said a 'valet park' for bicycle riders would operate on the plaza of the Municipal Services Building. He said bikers could park their bikes in a guarded area from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m."

Probably most significant was the article on page 5 of yesterday's metro newspaper, whose readership is mostly SEPTA riders.
