Ben Franklin Bridge Reopens
6 days after the storm DRPA has reopened the south walkway. Walkway hours are 6am to 6pm. An investigation on Tuesday revealed that no effort was made to remove the snow off the walkway.
The neglect of the walkway suggests that DRPA is pennywise and pound foolish. Maybe money that is being used to build a tram should be diverted to maintain, improve and beautify the walkway. The razor wire at the gates give the walkways a real Stalag 17 feel to them.
