Conserve by Bike Amendment Update

You will be pleased to know that the Conserve by Bike amendment to H.R. 6, the House Energy Policy Act,
passed by unanimous consent around 10:30 on Thursday. The House passed H.R.6 Friday afternoon. The Senate is still working on its version and Senators Durbin and Collins will once again attempt to have Conserve by Bike added to it. Once the Senate passes its version, the two Houses will meet to work out differences. If Conserve by Bike makes it into both bills, we should be set! I'll keep you posted.

As we enter into the debate on TEA-21 reauthorization, we may only have 1-2
hours notice on many issues, so please know that time is of the essence and
it is critically important to act fast should you receive an action alert.
We will try to keep them to a minimum. Our collective voices will make a
difference!

Thanks for your understanding, your help, and your support.
