Better Late than Never
An AP article about the Bicycle Commuter Act (HR 1052) sponsored by Congressman and bike commuter Earl Blumenaur (D-OR) appeared in the Sunday Inquirer a full 8 days after it ran in other papers nationwide including the Wilmington New Journal. The act would extend the transportation fringe benefit in the tax code to bicycle commuters. Currently the bill has one local sponsor Rep. Rush Holt from NJ. Contact your local congressional representative and ask them to cosponsor HR 1052
